After completing his degree course Wayne moved to Oxfordshire where he painted and exhibited his work for many years in and around the Cotswolds.Witney, Bourton on the Water, Burford and Woodstock were some of the regular places that exhibited his work, he also participated in the anual Oxford Artweeks.

In 2005 he moved to the Folkestone area and has exhibited widely in Kent, mainly in Folkestone, Whitstable, Ashford and Canterbury. For many years he was a member of Folkestone Art Society, where he often won the people’s choice awards. He also had work accepted and exhibited in 2009 and 2012 at the Mall Galleries for the annual Royal Society of Marine Artists exhibition.

Wayne works mainly in pastel or oil on canvas. His main subjects are landscape, seascape and scenes of natural beauty hoping to capture the atmosphere of the moment with a strong emphasis on the effects of light and shade.

Gallery and Picture Framing

There is a full in-store framing service available offering a wide range of mouldings, mountboard and various glass options.

The gallery offers Wayne’s own work for sale including: Original paintings, limited edition prints, mini prints, greeting cards and a wide range of locally made Jewellery by ‘Beyond The Sea Beads’.

There is also a feature window which occasionally displays alternative work such as Guest artists, framed vintage music sheets and other works of interest.
